need some help on alternators

Anyone know what the most powerful alternator for our cars is? If not, anyone know any places that can custom wound one up? I'm pretty darned certain this has not been covered and if it has, I'm sorry mods.

At any rate, the biggest I've found is 170amps. I'm looking to get into the 200-250+ range. If that size is not available is it possible to hook two up together somehow? I want the best output I can get as I'm going to be running some heavy duty equipement (top secret stuff, bwa ha ha).

did a bit of research, a second alternator would be a big pain to install since I'd have to get a larger belt and make a custom mount for both. I'm not even sure if I could fit a second one.
