car alarm system

sorry if it's reposted

has anyone had any experience with asianwolf alarm system?
i'm looking into asianwolf 8000rs model...

http://www.asianwolf.com/caralarms.htm
-or-
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-TRUE-COLOR-L...QQcmdZViewItem

it's cheap and bundle with a lot of features
like color lcd remote, auto arm and disarm (with proximity sensor?)

in ebay, it comes with the tilt sensor also to prevent someone stealing your rims... wonder how it works if i go to do wheel alignment or changing rims...

let me know if it's ok to buy asianwolf or what about brand (like compustar?) i can buy... i'm in a 200-range budget...

Wow that looks cheap as hell. It might work for you for the first month, then when it craps out you gotta go and take it all out and put a DEI (Made in USA) alarm in.

MojoMyCivic has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Those do look kinda crappy. I was looking to get an alarm as well, and was "hooked" up by my gf's friend. It was an AstroStart system, never even heard of them. The dude at the shop asked for 530 with installation, the remote looked kinda crappy and had that fake carbon fiber outter coat too. Still debating rather or not to get AstroStart. First I was told around 350, then when I went with my gf's friend, the price jumped to 530, what a joke.

Whoa, Whoa,...WTF!?!? $530? Holy Sh*t man, if you pay that then you are asking for it Especially for a no name brand like AstroStart. You should definately shop around more and find some deals. You pay $530 for that alarm and that guy will be eating steak for a year with your money.

i think i'll go with compustar...

Yeah, it seemed high doesn't it. I am definitely going to shop around. I can actually get the viper alarm for cheap, its just the installation gonna be a huge pain in the azz. Sigh, so many choices and so little money
