it used to be that when i pressed the lock button on my key two times, the civic would honk the horn to notify me that it's locked. ever since i removed the front bumper to do some stuff on the headlights, this honking feature only works SOME of the times. i think that i may have not tightened the horn's grounding all the way. is that it or am i missing something?

does it still lock your doors and blink your lights? does your horn work if you press the horn on the steering wheel?

yea the doors lock, lights light, horn works if i press it on the steering wheel. i found out it was a loose connection with the ground this morning so i fixed that. it works now.

Id be happy, I hate our wimpy horn sound. It makes me want to get a better horn

yea well sometimes i forget to lock the doors when i'm right beside the car, and i realize as i'm entering the building, so i just lock the car from there. i wouldn't know if the car actually locked or not if i didn't hear a horn.

ha lucky you....my alarm system's 'brain' was replaced under warranty by the dealer cuz the lights stopped working and the horn too....
