Digital Designs Subwoofers
Digital Designs Subwoofers
Hey, i was wondering if Digital Designs 2500 Series 12" subwoofers are any good. I can buy them right now for $360 for a pair but i don't know how loud they are. Some local guy told me that he would rather go with these than w7's so i don't know. The price seems kind of high but i dunno. Let me know if you guys know anything.

looks good, but if you really want to shake some asses, get this http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products...jackHammer.cfm
I know you guys may think it to be way to expensive or even way to ****in big but its the craziest sub i have ever came across. 12,000 watt peak, 6,000 watt RMS and i think over 200lbs lol
And yes I am joking if you have one of these you are out of your mind.

the dd9917 can eat the mtx jackhammer if done properly
as yes, dd subs are geared towards spl, and ive only heard the 2500 once, and it was a single 12 off about 900 rms in a pretty big ported box, im not sure of tuning but im guessing pretty damn high... i found that it sounded like total **** but it could just be the box.

DD subs thump but they aren't the best. if i had a choice like you i would save that 360 and get some decent MTX roadthunder(i think) 12s or some kicker comp 12s. those are amazing. i always talk about infinity kappas also. they are decently priced with sweet specs. hope that helps
man forget all you guys for my money it's Lightning Audio as featured by the increadible sound wall at your local wal-mart. There are those of you who will hate saying paper makes poor subs and I say you're probably right, but consider this if it breaks I can whip out my notebook and some duct tape and not only repair it on the flybut make it stronger in my spare time. It doesn't get more pimp than that.
