Ok, I bought these subs a i guess about a year ago, but i never hooked them up cas the guy at best buy told me i would need to spend about 800 bucks on 2 amps just to power them .

Can anyone help me pick out a amp that would power these? I just want the amps to sound good.

Audiobahn brand. I've never heard them before, but for a whopping $54.00 each I don't know how much you should expect?

Again, I don't know these woofers at all so I can't speak from first hand experience. If you don't want to spend a lot, maybe get one JL 500/1 and try driving both of them in par... if the box is a little on the larger side, the woofers (like any) should be more efficient. I'd feel hesitant to try running a 1000/1 on woofers like that. Is it even worth the money to drive them with a 500/1???? Maybe Jensen is in order?

Hopefully someone who has these woofers will speak up and let us know how they are.
