should i get a alpine d300 or d310? help me out.. what are the differences. help me here all you ice freaks.hehehe im a ice freak in trainning,,,

D310 has an external display so that when the monitor is closed, you can still see stations, songs, etc. The D310 also allows for more playback of MP3's burned onto a DVD disc. SAT ready (although I think the 300 can do that also), comes with a remote, the D300 does not. For the little bit extra money it costs, go with the D310, or if you have more dough, the D900 / D901. They have more inputs / outputs if youre planning on system expansion.

d310. but what are you looking for out of the screen? a lot of guys have screens molded in to the dash and their c.d. decks relocated to the cig lighter area then just put a laptop or ps2 under the seat. that way you pay 100-300 for the screen, 150 for the ps2 or dvd player, 190 for a deck, 30 dollars for cd chngr to aux input plug, then however much you end up spending on fiberglass and bondo (15-50) that way you only pay 600 and have a screeen, dvd player and deck. or with a lap top you can have all of your music you can get that verizon internet access and gps with a touch screen and you can surf the net, listen to all the music you downloaded, use gps, watch movies and listen to the radio. but a d310 is much easier to install if you have no idea how to build a carputer.

the d310 also has a stupid but cool eq where you just run your finger accross the screen to set the curve.
