hey should i buy this sub with a ported box for 150 bucks, its used

any suggestions what to check on the sub before buying it

only way i can test is to hook it up to a 350 rms watt amp, which is certianly underpowered..will that be okay???

type-r are above the type-s (what i got(2 12s for 210 with box)) and im happy with my type-s so definately for 150

get a multimeter and make sure the subs voice coils each meter out at 4 or 2 ohms. run your finger around the surround of the sub to make sure it isnt torn and look at the back of the surround(rubber) to make sure theres no electrical tape or silicone holding it together. yes underpowering it is a bad idea however getting it for 150 is worth the gamble.

thats the sub i have in my car and sounds excellent. for 150$, don't miss your chance
