Other other day while putting my trunk back together, i noticed that the speakers in the back were pioneers, and im wondering if these are stock??

they are alpine and pioneer. but they dont have any of the quality that those brands are associated with.

you got to remember that alpine was sourced by honda to build a cheap and reliable Head unit 5 years before the car made it to production, so our head unit would be awsome way back in 95-96 if it had pre-outs........ 10 years later and look what alpine can build for people willing to pay $300 a unit

yep - stocks are pioneer - about the lowest quality pioneer speaker made, IMO.

I am thinking some other pioneers are even worst....look at those "bose" system in acura, the speaker only costs $9....

And the stock's crappy Alpine ($350?) is made in Mexico, kind of like a 3rd class Alpine.....1st class, Made in Japan, 2nd class, Made in China and Korea, 3rd class, all other 3rd World....

Yes they are stock. I changed them with REAL pioneers and the radio with a REAL radio and a Basslink.

My car sound sweeter now!
