i just wanna know what amp you think is a better buy for power,reliability,performance etc. i always thought alphasonic was low end **** but it says 2900rms.
what would you choose if sub wiring wasnt an issue?

Go for the rockford, will have a better damping factor, much more solid bass. If youre looking for an amp for higher frequencies, I wouldnt choose either for that. My .02

i would say around 700 bucks at least. if you ebay it about 600 to 700. thats only because JL only advertises RMS watts. so if you get that 1000/1 then its 1000 RMS watts not max like everyone else advertises. it will blow whatever sub you have. you better hook up like 4 subs to that thing

yeah the rockford x7 i might get is 1500rms @2ohm but the birthsheet really says 1798watts rms
and its 1000rms at 4ohms

i like both the jl and rockford..i like how the jl hooks up. and how it can take anyload and give it 1000watts. thats cool... i own the rockford x6 right now and its really powerful for 1100watts rms. never even gets warm.
