line out on original head unit
1. I have the original Head unit (tape + radio). is there anyway taking from it "line out"?? I want to connect it to AUX IN of another HU (don't ask why
)
is there any possible way to do this?
2. Is there some kind of a splitter for the wires going to the head unit? or do I need to split it manually (I want to connect two units).
Thanks in advance.

How do you want to connect units? Two different source units to one amplifier? the answer to your first question is to get two line output convertors, one for the front channel and one for the rear channel.
goin need some more information to answer your second question

Ok..
because there are no RCA outputs on the original HU, I was wondering if there is any way to connect it to another source (Like an amplifier), is there some kind of a converter? what do I need to do to connect it?
Hope it's clear now...

LOC, or line out convertor. Taps speaker wires and converts the high level signal into RCA's. However, if your amp accepts hi-inputs you don't need one, you can simply tap the speaker wire and run them into the hi-level input on the amp.

What EXACTLY is it that you are trying to do? In your first post you say that you want to connect to another HU, and then later you hint that you might be trying to hook up an amplifier.
Ok.. this exactly what I'm planning...
I live in Israel, and planning to buy the Clarion dxz855mp HU in the US.
now, because the radio band frequencies are different (European vs. US) I won't be able to listen to the tuner with this HU.
What I was planning is to run a line out from my original honda HU to the AUX IN of the new Clarion (that is connected to my amp's).
That's the main idea.
Thanks...

Personally I would look for another solution, like seeing if you can get the Clarion to tune to EU frequencies, or find some kind of 3rd party radio tuner or something. IMO, having 2 decks in your car will be kind of hokey.

IIRC there might be a way to set the deck so it tunes to the european frequencies, I remember reading about that in one of my deck manuals and it might have been my Clarion.
