arhg i was just rummaging through my trunk and i just unhooked my amp and subs yesterday so the wires were just laying around on the carpet and i thought it would be fine. but just now i was getting my back pack outa my trunk and the remote wire to the amp that is directly hooked up somewhere on the harness that the radio/cd player is hooked up to [for the amp] touched a piece of metal and it like sparked a little bit and my head unit just shut off... now whenever i turn on my car the head unit doesnt turn on or anything, no clock no nothing. what happened!? please help thanks

Check all fuses. If you have a good stereo there will be a fuse on the back. Check that as well...

theres 2 fuse boxes one under the hood and one under the steering wheel
