Need Help ASAP

I disconnected my battery while working on some wiring and now whenever I try to reattach the negative terminal (w/ positive attached) the alarm goes off and won't stop. It's not the factory alarm, but I don't know the brand.

Please save me from my stupidity.

lol it shouldn't do that when the batery is hooked up again. If you have a backup battery, it might have a blown fuse or something.

mine does that too. try putting the key in, turning it two clicks and then try the remote with the key still in the ignition. works for me.

Have you tried to locate the kill switch for the alarm? There should be a hidden switch somewhere in the car where you can turn the alarm off. In our cars, the most common, and easiest loaction, it up above the kick panel/dead pedal area. Should be located somewhere behind or near to the hood release lever, at least that's where most shops would install it, as it's easy to mount to.

Thanks everyone for your help. I was able to get everything under control finally. Ended up removing the ground on the siren to buy me some time. Turns out I had to use the kill switch as PopcornPlaya suggested.
