JL W3's it looks like. should still play clean and clear if they aren't blown. those subs will last forever (obviously) and will play almost as good as the day they were made forever too.
hey my speakers on my pc are bose speakers from over 20 years ago. sound better than most other bookshelf i've heard, even brand new, under $1000/pair. so natural sounding. not perfectly sharp but natural.

the subs are only a couple years old, the amps are old like 8-9 years i believe. subs are like 2-3 years old.

Rep Power: 285 a member asked to see how i did my trunk in detail so sorry for those of you who dont care lol..........
well it started as this........lol it was zipptied down b4 the pic .....kinda lol oh god
anyways next i built the box........(parents wanted to kill me)
you can see the box to the left, i used 3/4" mdf and on the front i put another piece with slightly larger holes so that the subs will sit down into them flush, youll see better in this pic....
you can see circles the smaller one is where the sub gets screwed onto and the bigger one goes around it to allow them to sit flush (also another approx. 1/2" was added with velcro a 1/4" mdf and some carpet to make the wall and that will now sit flush with plexiglass grilles im getting custom made (one of the few things i didnt make)ill explain more about all this later.
now behind the seat i made this piece and screwed it to the back of my box which was bolted down to the floor tight with dynamat between (i call it my rear strut bar lol it sorta is)
this was put ontop of the previous photos piece and this is where the amp now sits with some fans in a couple of those holes.
ok i gots to resize some pics brb

Rep Power: 297 in the trunk there will will be 1 Kicker S12L7 Solobaric ran by Kicker KX600.1 (710 watts) Kicker KX350.4 running the Kicker K65.2 components up front in custom fiberglassed kick panels and Kicker SSMB6 Midbass in the doors. Kicker KS60 in the rear deck but turned way down for proper imaging. The trunk will be all fiberglass and will be painted professionally Rallye Red to match the car. Pioneer AVIC-N2 will be also installed 1-2 weeks after when the unit comes in. Then next month I will be upgrading the components up front to the Kicker RS65.2's and put the K65.2's in the trunk lid all fiberglassed in with a Kicker KX200.2 running them. A Kicker KQ30 30 band EQ will also be installed to allow tuning. The trunk should be pretty extreme since I'm dropping around 1500 just for the box and kicks.

Rep Power: 297 man don't hijack threads n00b, someone delete this guys stupid post.
Kickercivic1, where are the tv's going? I'm thinking about putting another tv in the truck lid between the components, either that or the other amp.
Also xbox will be in the car with the AVIC-N2.

Rep Power: 285 ok so after that, i had to make the wall in the trunk. i needed two pieces of 1/4"mdf (so it folds to take out of the trunk) and i velcroed them onto the box for easy removal (yes this is the right way not the half-*** way). the way i did the wall to fit into the sides was........ get a scribe and open it to like 6" now put a piece of cardboard against the box and run the scribe down the sides of the trunk with the pencil tracing the shape onto the cardboard, do this for both sides, now cut these shapes onto each piece of 1/4" mdf. then figure out where you want the split in the wall (not visible anyway) and cut the two pieces down to size so they fit tightly against each other when on the box and tightly into the gaps on the sides. your next step is to put velcro on the box and slap on the wall so it has the velcro in the right spots. now take the wall out and carpet it, i cut the circles small so i could fold the carpet in and under the subs so you cant see any gaps between the wall and the box (although u can cus i cut too deep and you see the cuts if u look, someday ill do it over) now you can put the subs in (if u did the wiring) and your done with the wall. next i measured the floor from box back and cut the remainder of 1/4"mdf to make my new floor and i carpeted that with the same stuff to remain consisten with shades (i dyed the side carpets.
the trouble i ran into was i forgot to cut holes for the trunk arms. please do this before u carpet the wall. just measure like 5 times and cut lil by lil trying the fit in between cuts to be sure you dont cut too much.
for the amp im gonna use a template ive already got of my amp and cut like 1/8th of an inch larger and do the wall around it then cut a lil out to just barely expose the cap (not yet installed) and put a few amp monitoring gauges probably.
im also having a guy do plexi grilles that will have JL and RF logos cut out with blue leds shooting across the grille from inside so the edges of the logos will light up and appear to be floating becase u wont see anything around it. (at night anyway) and im doin led's behind the amp probably jus cus i got like 100 leds layin around from ebay lol.
ANY QUESTIONS JUST PM ME OR AIM.....ncirom2003
