Rep Power: 0 Sealing a subwoofer box without permanently sealing it.
Hey everyone, ok im making a subwoofer box and I need to seal it but want to make it so that if I need to take a certain part of the box off then I will still be able to. Is there anything out there that will allow me to do this? Thanks everyone.

I think he means accross or sideways it takes up the whole thing but not the entire trunk. Like it goes end to end at the back of his trunk (right behind the seats) but then he has the rest of the space 4 his clubs or whatever.....
If he didnt mean that^ then he doenst make sense.
And I dont think that their is such a thing. The only thing that I could think of is build a boxk that fits and then add sides to it so it's flush mounted but that would be depriving u of air space and it sounds like u need alot of it.

Rep Power: 313 depends whether or not the break is at a joint (like a removable baffle) or in the middle of a panel.
if its a baffle, screws and weatherstripping. if its a once or twice ever thing, or once a year removal, then id use strip caulk.
if its the middle of a panel where you make yout cut, then coffin locks and weatherstripping. ideally, the locks would be on the inside of the box, you can lock together the box, then install the woofers.
its a little ugly, but you can just put coffin locks on the outside if you want.

Rep Power: 303 Do you own a razor blade? If so, you can simply use silicone caulk. You'd have to remove it once you took the piece out, but that's not too hard, just spray a thin layer of gloss spray paint on the places the caulk will contact. It'll peel right off when you're ready.

Rep Power: 0 box takes up "most" of the trunk, enough space left to put maybe a tiny little bag....actually I take that back, after the amps are mounted there is no room at all. I also have a 5 gallon air tank in there.
