can i get a kenwood ddx8017 to fit in the dash

crutchfield says it wont fit but i dont believe it

anyone know if the 7015, 7017, or the 8017 fits?

I was just gonna tell you how kenwood quality went down the toilet last two years...but i'm not familiar with those products. I know the 7015 is double din so obviously won't fit, don't know about the others. Pics/link? the 8017 looks like a single din to me and should fit. but you gotta search around to make sure. I'm just guessing.

it should fit with a 2005 SE double din kit....i dont see why not but i could be wrong...

i dont see why if the eclipse double din fits why the kenwood wouldnt

well if you just wanna know if double din fits then yes they are all the same. If one fits, so does another. Its a standard size. You just need the 05 se mount.

any double din unit will fit. I have 2 single din units in mine and no problems

I've installed several double din units in the 7th and 8th gen civics. No major problems.. just takes a little bit of customization as far as brackets go and such

metra makes a double din kit ... I have a pioneer AVIC-D1 in an 04 lx with the metra kit and it looks flawless ... the unit is ISO mount and the kit is pretty much just a trim piece ... I will try to take pics soon.
