MTX Jackhammer! Don't they know when to draw the line?
I was watching "Pimp My Ride" and they installed a MTX Jackhammer, the biggest sub i have ever seen go into a car. They installed it where the back seats usually are facing towards the trunk and used the entire inside of the car as the box. Here is the picture and the specs on this massive *** thing!

Yea i know, 325lbs, could you imagine trying to fit that damn thing in our trunks, i would have to go back to stock springs in the rear and keep the drop in the front to maintain the even drop.

Lol, that thing only holds 10,000 watts though, the Kicker Solo X 18" can do that too and weighs alot less and is not as big.

I don't know, West Coast Customs does some nice things to cars, but Pimp my ride is getting gay to me, the sub was only hitting 100 db's, thats weak for a sub like that.
its just for show. its for the people with 28in spinners on their 88 monte carlo to say "i got a sub thats bigger than your rims beyotch!" and so their car will buzz and rattle at stop lights so loud that you cant hear the music in your own car. i dont think our cars can pull it up a hill though. i want one. lol jk

yeah 100 dbs is nothing, my car hits 130+ with only 2 12's... I still couldnt believe the size of that thing.. It would be like having a really fat person in the car all the time, imagine what it does to your miles per gallon.... I guess if I had a hummer maybe I would though a couple jackhammers in there...

ya it was a bit much IMO...I did not know they existed! I can remember back in the day a kicker in the back of a CRX that was huge...this is just rediculous!!
no no no. the sub cone itself wasnt even that big. but the magnet and all that was rediculous. it was huge! the worst thing about it was they called this buick they put it in a hot rod! hahaha. yeah, it was running at like 96 db's. haha. the best thing about itwas that they had 5 750 watt amps! they had so so so much power going to those 3 subs. there was also 2 more of what looked like 12's.
4 cyllinders are good but 5 is better!

So they took out the rear seats for this right? Imagine if the owner of that car had passengers in the back? When he calls a tow truck he'll explain "My big *** sub and friends killed my rear suspension.....but yo, that **** is bangin!"
