Custom trunk for nitrous bottle
I'm in the process of re-installing a nitrous kit. I had drilled holes in the trunk floor (metal floor) to mount the bottle in the past. Now I'm planning to build a custom trunk similar to the DIYs so I can put in an sub and amp. Can I mount the nitrous bottle brackets (10lb bottle) on an MDF floor? Will it shift around alot while I'm driving?
Any thoughts/ideas appreciated.

If the trunk goes all the way to the edges and it's bolted to the floor, it shouldn't move. If you don't run the mdf floor all the way to the edges, bolt it to the floor(metal) then bolt the bottle to the mdf.
we are bolting 60+ pound box/subwoofer enclosures to those MDF floors, spare batteries made for RV's, and amplifiers bigger then the cavity of the spare tire well.
I think youll be fine with a 10 pound bottle

it shouldn't move it didn't for me but you could try mounting it in your back seat right behind your center counsoule if yo uwant a little more trunk space. here is mine. btw i changed the angle a little bit from this pic.
