so i tried to fix my pioneer 8500mp with the kit off ebay and now, when i tried to hook everything back up the deck doesn't turn on
i was thinking it was the 7.5A radio fuse under the steering column and i took it out and it was broken...so i changed it with another 7.5 one and i tried again, but no luck...
i don't remember pulling anything out of the deck and i put it back together..correctly i think. so now my deck doesn't come on whatsoever and now the cd my cousin got for my is stuck in there....
so what's my next thing to check guys? any ideas?

By any chance is the Fuse blown again?? Maybe you are grounding somewhere and the fuse is blowing as soon as the deck is turned on (or attempted)!! Just a thought!!
does the factory deck work? if it does then its probably your new deck. if the oem works take the pioneer twist the yellow and red together and put a 10amp fuse in a line and put the yellow/red to positive and black to ground on the battery. if it still doesnt work then bad deck. if it does work check your fuses.

i double checked the fuses....which backup fuse under the hood?
i tried plugging the oem one in, but that one didn't turn on either, i'm not sure if i changed the fuse out yet when i plugged the oem one in...let me try that again.
i've been running this deck for nearly 2 years, but just took it out recently to try and fix it. i never took out any of the wires

i checked those...there's nothing specific to the radio...so i didn't really pull any out...or did you mean the one that read "back-up fuse"
check all of the fuses. your electrical system is like a tree. theres the battery whis is the trunk then theres a general electronics back up fuse which is a branch. then theres the radio fuse witch is a twig, finally the fuse on the back of the radio the leaf. if any are blown even if they are not labelled radio will stop your radio
