2ohm component sets.
i have my Kicker KX800.4 its 200 watts RMS at 2 ohms.
I seem to be having a hard time finding a set of 6.5 components for this setup. Seems like all the more popular brands use 4 ohm components.
On sounddomain they seem to be raving about CDT components, but they are all 4 ohms
Anyone have opinions on CDT stuff in general? it seems kinda unknown.
The eclipse SC8264 would seem to work perfectly but i cant find alot of reviews or info on them.
Anyone else got recommendations for me? Are Kicker components any good? I might just want to go with an all Kicker system.
My budget is around 200 bucks + or - 50.

so 3 or 4 would be fine right? Im assuming 4 ohms would make the speaker get half of the 200 watts rms?
I looked at the kicker specs and their RS65.2 components arent even 2 ohms, they are 3 ohms taking 100 watt rms.

in theory if it is 200w at 2 ohms, it would be 100 at 4 ohms
just get any set of speakers, don't worry about the impedance, literally any set will be fine

Just like MegaHurtz said any set would be fine, but if you are looking for 2-ohm 6.5's and a good speaker Infinity Kappa's come to mind, good quality and sound great!!

I have never hear of Infinity Kappa 2-ohmers...but Image Dynamics does make some 2-ohm components that are rated for 150 watts RMS...check sounddomain, and if you get them please price match so you get a good deal...heck, i got a set of PG Xenon comps recently for $160 ( ithink they retail for like $400 or something).

Why does everyone think 2 ohm speakers are better anyways. I only use 4 ohm speakers competeing in sql competions because you get better tonality and less distortion. 2 ohmers are good for spl though
