ok, my amp and sub (10" JL in a truck box, from my truck) are just laying back in the trunk...the sub does not bother me but i would like to mount the amp and keep it from moving arond and have it look half way decent or have it hidden...i don't need anything fancy and i don't want to draw attention to the amp if my trunk is open...thanks all!

If your box is big enough, just mount it on the back of your sub box.

well, the only problem is that my sub box is a truck wedge shape box and it is laying flat on its back where the amp would go. thanks

Well When I did my first install in my car, I just added a 1/4inchx2'x1' ft Board under the stock trunk board and and screwed m y amp to tha through the stock trunk board. (put the plywood under it for reinforcement)

put it behind the rear seat... thats where most people put it.. i'm not sure how other people did it but i stuck 2 boards inside the seat and screw it onto there...
