Advise on Stereo Setup Series or Parallel. Alpine or Eclipse...
Hi everyone,
I want to know if I should use my Eclipse amp to run my whole stereo or should I use my Alpine amps. Also should I run my subs in series or in parallel for best base? What is the best way to wire the subs? If I use the Eclipse amp it only has one channel for a sub.
Amps:
I have and Eclipse EA3532 5 channel Amp.
105W 4 channel Max. Power Output at
2 plus 230W x 2 Max. Sub-Out
60W 4 channel (2 ), 120W x 1 channel (4 ),
0.1% THD Stereo @13.8V
(RMS Continuous Power)
40W 4 channel (4 ), 120W x 1 channel(4 ),
0.1% THD Stereo @13.8V
(RMS Continuous Power)
I have Alpine V12 MRV-T707
Amplifier Type: 2-channel
RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 70W x 2 @ 12V
THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.08%
Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 240W x 1 @ 12V
Speaker Level Inputs: No
Preamp Outputs: No
Built-In Crossovers: HP/LP
Bass Boost: 12 dB
Frequency Response: 10-50,000 Hz
Signal to Noise Ratio: 105 dB
I also have a Alpine V12 MRV-F407
RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 40W x 4 @ 12V
THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.08%
Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 100W x 2 @ 12V
Speaker Level Inputs: No
Preamp Outputs: Yes
Built-In Crossovers: HP/LP
Bass Boost: 12 dB
Frequency Response: 10-50,000 Hz
Signal to Noise Ratio: 105 dB
Speakers:
I have 2 Dual voice coil Kicker Pro 10” Subs, 4ohms each. 300rms
I have 2 6X9 Alpine 250w in the rear
I also have 2 4” Panasonic mids in the front with tweeters.
I have a Alpine 9XXX Head unit Mp3 player.
Thanks,

use the MRV-T707 to power the subs. Are they two dual voice coil subs @ 4 ohms per voice coil? If they are, wire each sub in parrallel for a two ohm load per sub, the connect the two subs in series to the amp for a 4 ohm total load
And if you don't know what he's talking about, check here for some more info:
