Ps2

hooking up my ps2 to the car will require me running a DC to AC power converter if I'm correct. what do you run them to, directly to the car battery or do you cut power from someplace else, I've seen some that have little aligator clips that go to the battery but I would like to avoid those and possibly just place it in the lighter adapter if possible. I'm really just fooling around with the idea and possibly put the ps2 in there for temporary use for my passenger on long trips. What's the best DC to AC power converter if I need one!!!???

the prices can get really high if you want the 'best' one.

I dont think that u would need a very powerful one. maybe like 400w. see how much power the PS2 requires. sometimes the ones that plug into the cigarete lighter wont have enough power for what u r going to need. That's when u need to run it direct. just look up the power for the ps2 then find a converter w/ the required power. Brand doesnt matter...

you have a few options:
1. cheap cig lighter plug in style.
2. lazy alligator clip style.
3. run 8 or 4awg from the battery to the location of the inverter and power and ground it like an amp.(this is by far the best)

paradoxblue will become famous soon enough
lol for a ps2 u willw ant a 300-350 watt minimum

as for power. i popped out my cig lighter.. and wired it to the back of that

this way i can leave the inverter pwoered on and it turns on/off with my car to power my xbox (which is better by the way. haha)

if u run it fromt he battery u will have to turn the converter on/off when u turn car on/off or it will kill battery :|
