wow, my kicks are going to be huge...
sorry no pics yet, no digicam at the moment (going to buy one this week). the kick is going to take up all the area where my left foot would go. i guess i shouldnt bitch, i'm using a large 7" driver, shouldnt expect much.
just thought i'd let that out. i'm in the process of stregthening the kick with fiberglass/resin. then all i do is vinyl it, and mount it. should be done this week. will post pics when i get the digicam.
btw, anyone have pics of there custom kicks?

baaaaaaaack in the day, morel and dynaudio worked together, morel is based in israel, makes good stuff...
there is another brand, morel usa, which makes very similar drivers... go for the israeli ones, much better...
they also do a lot of OEM work, iirc, PG Ti Elite component set, and a bunch of home audio...
theyre famous for putting 3" voice coils on everything, from 4" speakers to 15's... the 4inch with 3" coils is funny looking =)

I use the Diamond HEX 6.5's and a silk tweet in the kicks. They have grille cloth over them now. There's a fair amount of space down there. Be prepared to bend the clutch pedal over about 2 inches if you drive a stick. You can vent it into the side rail if need be too.

Thank for the info Ludlam, here are pics of the D9's i took when i got them, better pics of the drivers, maybe you can identify them better : http://slickssite.com/D971_Components/
thanks for the pic Rufus, my kicks look like they stick out as much as yours, i think they should be fine. how do you like the HEX's? i loved mine, sad to see them go, but i hope the D9's sound better, they should for the money.

on second thought, doesnt look like a huge coil anymore...
if you REALLY want, i can inquire about the buildhouse, but if you dont care, then its less work for me...
and that passive looks pretty
