for 8" subs?.. Audiobahns subs are allright.. Nothing overly great..But they're Top SPL Subs are kicka$$... if you want quality but not too Expensive for 8" subs.. Phoenix Gold XS series.. or Kicker Comp VR's.. Sound good.. bump good for 8's. Good price.. look good. There's a few other's out there too.. lemme know more what kind of sound you're lookin for and I'll do my best to hwlp you out..

Cheers

mohawk.....

ur kool man!!!......great help for newbies like us.......actually a sweet & good sound is ok for me, im very tight with budget. i got a JVC w/ 12 CD CHANGER replaced on my head unit ( i saved when i do DIY on it, i just bought the DIY manual from CRUTCHFIELD), right now im quiet satisfie coz it sounds a lot better than those OEM, here are my upgrades yet....

1. JVC head unit w/ cd changer
2. BLAUPUNKT component speakers on front (damn!! i cracked my dorr panel about3 inches but i fixed it w/
mighty glue & not noticeable)
3. still waiting for my polk 6.5 120W i got from ebay 4 my rear
4. i just want a 8" sub coz i already got a dual enclosure w/ a cheap audiovox subs & i want to replace it

what other suggestion mohawk???

thanxx BUD

For the low cost sweet sounding Phoenix Gold XS subs can't be beat.. I think they're under $50 a piece

Check around for ideas at OnlineCarStereo
And SoundDomain

Wide array of subs to look at and pricing..

I have two 12 inch Aluminum series Audiobahn subs. They are great. They hit so hard. I would recommend them to everyone.

I have installed audiobahn subs, and they are great for all out pounding, but they tend to need alot of power, and airspace, when you are switching out the audiovox subs for the audiobahn, make sure that you have enough required airspace, or you wont get the full potential
