amp for components
ok im pulling out the factory speaks and don't know which amp i should get. Here's the skibby....... front speaks are diamond audio 5 1/4's (20-150W) and the back eclipse point source 6x9's (80W continuous and Max. of 160W). The shop where i get my stuff done said to take the amp i have now pushing my subs which is 150x2 and use those for my components, but i have a US Acoustic 65x4 amp from my old car just sitting doing nothing. Should i use either of these or just get a higher wattage amp to push all of the midranges???

More wattage isn't always better... What you should get if there's an eclipse dealer near you.. is an Eclipse 55Wrms x4 amp.... The amps are suprisingly not expensive and are VERY clean sounding..they'd compliment your system very nicely..
With components like that I wouldn't risk feeding them any lower class power .. High class wants High class.. What Hu you running?
