Bass skips...Can this be the amp or the subs?
I have a base Pioneer radio, RF punch in the front, RF power in the back and 2 10s shittie subs connected to a 4c Phoenix Gold Ti Amp, but one of the channels is burned hence why I'm only using it for the subs. The subs are bridged and when they did the install, everything was working fine, but now the base kicks in whenever it wants. Can this be the subs(which are crappy) or an issue with the amp??

the song still plays but the BASS if just not their right?
need more details about the issue (when it occurs, when car engine is on/off, how its wired up, brand amp?, etc)
check the install to verify everything is properly installed. which shop installed your equipment? (hope not circuit city, bestbuy, or goodguys)

The amp is a Phoenix Gold Titanium series and the subs like I said are cheapy...
No...BestBuy, Circuit City or GoodGuys didn't install it, I don't trust them, never will. Anyways...my buddy's cousing who has plenty of experience and ran a shop for 6 years did the whole installation...all the cables are fine, already checked them.
The problem happens when I'm driving and also when the car's idle. The bass doesn't always start all of the sudden with the music which it should, it starts sometimes but not always, then it gets cut off when I'm driving and comes back whenever it wants...

make sure your also using 4-gauge, those 8 gauge wires will go on you real quick. I had 8gauge wires powering one sub and amp and the inline fuse kept blowing so i swaped to 4-gauge wire with a glass fuse and never happend
