Install an '05 Element HU in Civic?
Assuming I could get my hands on a '05 Double-Din Honda Element HU, does anyone know if I would have any problems installing it in my '05 Civic EX, both from a electrical and fit standpoint? I appreciate any help.

I'm no stereo wiz, but my limited experience seems to point at all the Honda/Acura stereo harnesses being the same. The only problem I could see is the shape of the hole in the dash. If the element deck is square and is truly a standard double DIN deck, then you just need a double DIN faceplate for your car. If the element dash hole is funky, you probably need to fab your own plate.

back to the subject, what does the headunit look like? ours have that ugly triangular shape to it, on the right side, is the element the same?
do they make double din kits for our cars? for double din headunits...

looks nice i guess, not sure why you'd want that in yoru car though, might as well get a good headunit with better sound instead of replacing oem equipment with oem. but that's all you.
i don't know if that'll fit in our cars btw. unless they make a kit for double din headunits for our car.

you can get a converter that splices into the speaker wires and spits out rca, I did that in my first car.. then i just replaced the deck a few months later..
