current problem/flickering lights

I looked but didnt find anything(just my luck probably) but I was wondering what you guys are doing to stop your lights from flickering. I currently have a batcap and a optima battery.

check your connections at the battery, I'm willing to bet the connections at the terminal are corroded

hm...yea, i think i have to..

btw, which connection? both?

EDIT....i hope this is the one though...even though i kinda doubt about it..

btw, the negative terminal in my car doesn't have the red cover anymore because of the amp cable.....

is there any way i can close it up? i've been looking for bigger plastic cap..

yup, check both connections. The negative cable shouldnt have an amp cable on it. If your talkin about your positive cable, not having the cover isnt a big deal. Once you get the terminals clean, apply some di-electric grease to them to keep them clean

oops...it's the positive terminal. LOL..

yea, i think i'll do that tomorrow....following what the haynes book said about cleaning the terminal...using that metal brush....and later on, i'll cover it with lots of grease..

that'll definatly help. make sure you dont use regular grease, it has to be dieletric grease. If your feeling lucky, upgrade your factory grounds. it helped my system out alot.
