Alpine deck users question.
Alpine deck users question.

Why is it that my radio looks like this slanted? its really hard to see the numbers at night or day.
Is there way i can get my deck to be more straight so i can see what im doing?
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

Buy a DVD player and never have to worry about seeing the LCD at night again!! With 7" and tons of backlighting you cant miss it.

i have the alpine 9851 with the tilt feature and it doent help at all. the radio is to hight up to start with. i hate the way the radio is angled. cant see a thing during the day
It's a problem with all headunits in our cars unless you have a BioLite or an OrganicEL display. The only fix is a custom trim piece and relocation to the cig lighter, where you can use the tilt feature, or move the headunit one slot down to where the door is.

I use to run alpine HU 78XX model and now a calrion vrx935vd 7" screen and the only thing that makes worthwhile is the tilt feature I have on both headunits. Honda made there dash crappy IMO.

i have an alpine 9831, it sucked but i went thru the setup menu to contrast and changed it to +5. its a lot better now, but still room for improvement.
I spend way too much time on this website

it's mostly honda's fault but some HU's are also more prone to glare or a washed out display
i used to have a Clarion DXZ845MC and there was no glare problem at all...the display was perfectly viewable even on the brightest days..
