I have been looking at getting some subs and i was wondering if anyone could help me decide what do yall think about the MTX 7500 is it a good sub for 250?

Not nearly the best sub for the money. One of the main reasons why I don't like MTX is because the frequency response on the subwoofers is horrible. That particular sub will not play anything under 45 hz. That means you have to set the subsonic filter at 45 or you can actually damage the sub by having it play that low. ****, my speakers go all the way down to 38 hz (not that I cut them that low). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
Anyways, for that amount of money I would look for some other subwoofers. You can choose from a very wide range of subs, especially for 250 bucks.
Here's one that would blow that mtx out of the water for not even 200 bucks.
