corvette install done, pics....
and no, its not my vette. the guys at my local shop did the install, i was there yesterday and took some pics to share, i think it looks great and wanted to share the pics. i think i already posted up pics last year, but they were of the install process and the owner of the vette had them do a trunk lid install, thats why its back.
too lazy to resize pics, here are the thumbs: http://slickssite.com/Z06%20Done/thumbs/
if you see a pic you like and want the larger image, go here for a full size image (warning, 56k UPGRADE TO HIGH SPEED): http://slickssite.com/Z06%20Done/large/
the file names are the same, so if you like thumbnail 60.jpg, go to the large folder and open 60.jpg for the full size.
i dont have the full equipment list, but this is what i know it has for sure:
Eclipse AV8533 in dash monitor
Diamond Audio HEX S600s components in front doors
Diamond Audio M3 coaxils in the rear (not sure of size)
JL Audio 450/4
(2) JL Audio 500/1 (mainly to even out the look of the trunk)
JL Audio 13W7
(3) Rockford Fosgate Exide batteries (2 in trunk, one under hood)
Diamond Audio D3 4" Coaxil in the trunk lid
(2) 10.4" LCD monitors in the trunk lid (one is a VGA touchscreen)
computer (nforce 2 with built in video, 80gb hard drive, blah blah blah) in the rear deck of the car
Clarion Calypso satelite radio reciever in the center console
all the fiberglass work, paint done in house. the aluminum trim around the batteries, woofer, monitors, speakers was cut, sanded and polished in house.
car sounds great and looks great. a few minors things need to be done (chromed trunk latch and trunk hinges) but its basically done and has left the shop.
oh, and for those who care, the vette is supercharged
850hp to the wheels, it sounds so sweet.
