i just covered the back of my plate with a piece or two of fatmat and found a frame that would help hold it on a little more tighter

yea, i dont understand why they didnt give us a mounting point for the lower part of the rear plate. I've been thinking of fab'ing something to hold it down a little better.

You could always use one of the dealer plate things that are magnets that you put the screws onto and stick it on there. WOrks like a champ. Anyways, to deaden it, if you don't have any extra mat deadener lying around, I'd do like I did... go buy some 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch think weatherstripping (or bigger if you can find it) and coat the back of teh license plate with it.

i just used an old sponge and cut it up into pieces and place them strategically on the back of the license plate.
