Now with night pics of Neons - My Trunk Progress
Not sure why the pic didn't work the first time, but -
So far so good. Got the top piece cut this weekend. Now, I just need to carpet it up, make the plexiglass JL in the bottom piece, wire up some neon and it be done. I'm not sure how it effected the sound just yet, I haven't had a chance to cut out the port in the box. I'll be posting progress.
Fun fact - I stapled posterboard to the wood, covered it in play-doh and used that to make the imprint of the woofer so I could cut the hole exact.

that select products carpet looks like good ****... maybe I will buy some as well for my car when I do my isntall... .how much do you figure it will cost to do a whole trunk and box and everything?
Yeah, a couple things. First, I promise they aren't quite as low as they appear from that angle. THere is a couple of inches of space below them. Second, because the trunk wall was afterthought. The box was designed well before hand. Thanks though

j
how big is your box? (lwh and how many cubes?)
can you measure for me the distance from the front of your box where the subs are to the edge of your trunk like where the latch is
