Help Asap!!!!!
Ok, I was converting my car back from being in winter mode, and there are a few things wrong!
#1 my power locks won't work unless the car is turned to accessory
#2 my deck won't power on, even though there appears to be power running to it and ground running from it.....I'm stumped!
help me please!!!

I tried it both with an OEM deck AND an aftermarket deck, and there is just no signal at all.....it doesn't even power on.
by converting, I mean, having all of my 'summer parts' put on
the locks are wierd, cause they only work when the car is set to accessory. could it have anything to do with me having an 03 cluster in my 01?
I need to be at a show on thursday! help :|

I haven't touched the door locks or wiring for it at all, same goes for the headunit.
I DID take out my entire dashboard, so is it possible that something got unplugged OR imporpoerly plugged in?

Just to try to speed things along - I'm filling in with what I know..
BIG stored his Civic for the winter .. he drives a winter beater. BIG and his fellow London area friends took apart his car to give it a complete makeover - and get it show quality ready. It was virtually stripped and everything changed up/touched up.
Here are some threads about it, he's in the process of trying to get it ready for a show this weekend

Dude, if you aren't willing to list all the things you did in detail, then I propose that nobody helps you. It's f*ing ludicris what you are asking. You want all of us to take time from our busy lives and devote our collective energies to focus on YOUR problem to help YOU. At the same time, YOU are not willing to take 5 minutes and sit down to write a detailed description of what you changed and the circumstances around it. Even though it could all be incredible relevant to your problem. To earn our help, you've got to at least meet us 1/4 of the way and detail everything that we might wan't to know about your problem. Think about it and you'll realize how selfish that is.

I was asked what parts I take off for the winter, I said everything.....I was not asked what I did that could possibly relate to the problem, lol......
All I've done was remove the dashboard, airbags, steering wheel, crusie control, all of the switches by the change thingy, and rewired from an 01-->03 gauge cluster
sorry for the miscommunication, I just thought he was asking what ALL I have done to the car in general......my fault
if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.....thanks again, and sorry for the mis interpretation

I have to say the cluster swap jumps out at me.
Did you have to re-wire the connectors?
Do you know anyone who successfully did the swap?
Do you realize that some auto manufacturers use different wiring codes from year to year. - For instance, I realized that a pink/black wire on a caddilac elderado from 1980 was the wire used to carry the Pwr antenna signal. However, Pnk/BLk for the 81 Caddy was for, if I remember correctly, the rear door window control. Moral of the story is that you can't just swap the wires from different years based on color.

I think so too.....I followed the DIY myself.......
fvck, I just thought of something, Canadian cars also have a DRL warning light in the cluster! That must mean that at least ONE wire in the cluster is different. Damn, Faze.....lets keep in close contact (non-physically
) with each other until we have this issue resolved
