Tail lights!

Does anyone else's TYC taillights get water in that little groove between the outside clear plastic and the inside silver plastic or does no one else have that groove? Ill try to take some pics but when i washed my car i noticed water getting in that groove and starting to fog up! There is a seal running around the whole light thankfully but it still looks bad until it dries! Would it be possible to fill that groove with some clear bath tub caulk or what are some suggestions?

Tyc's are common for leaking use some bathroom caulking or marine silicone (obviously clear)
