Got new amp, help!!!
well i just got my audiobahn a8002t in the mail. Hooked it up to my 2 10' subs. (audiobahn), but they are 300 watt rms, the cheepest ones. I need better subs. the amp can keep going up but the subs just flap like crazy and the bass sucks. What am i better off doing. 1 12' kicker? or 2 type r 10's? i dont know what to get.

I'd go with neither if I cared that much about SQ. For SPL, meh, they're alright for block rocking I guess. YOu never specified which kicker line either BTW.

if it's a SoloBaric, go with the Kicker...if not, stick with the Alpines...
and if you want some bada$$ deals on some systems, including a pair of SoloBaric 12"s, click here ...good luck!

Question .... did you adjust the gains and tune the deck?
You have subs now to fill in the bass as needed. There should be no more need to compensate in this area. The bass should be flat, no eq settings, no loud, no BBE, etc .... If you have these on it can ruin sound quality and cause the bass to sound really bloated and crap out quickly as you up the volume.
Also if the gains aren't adjusted the sub volume won't match the volume of the rest of the system. Then as you turn up the volume the highs are just warming up while the bass is going full tilt and pooping out.

you can either wire them in stereo or wire them bridged, since your using low end subs I would go in stereo for now with the gain turned down a little but as you upgrade then you can move into bridged mode and get more clean power to your subs
