Sound System
I would like to install a good system in my 05 Civic Ex Special Edition, I want to change the stereo for a flip out screen or something of that nature. The Special Edition has a pretty big stereo. What can I do to change it?

you can replace everything. and add more... you can replace all 4 speakers and your deck, you can also add amps, subs, different speakers, etc.... TONS of stuff... you can add stuff to your electrical system too, capacitors, performance batteries, isolators, etc. tons of stuff.

the ex special edition has 6 speakers total right? 2 tweeters, 2 front speakers and 2 rears.
theres so much you can do with replacing the speakers with better ones, enhancing the new speakers by amping them, subwoofer for bass, personal favorite.. new deck, etc.
check out www.crutchfield.com to get you started. the faqs there are good guides. it'll let you know which each piece does, how they perform, what to look for, etc.

A few places to browse that are informational regarding car audio. Crutchfield is an ok resource to look at, but the knowledge at these two places far override what they can offer. And definantly do not order from Crutchfield, as they are waaaaaay overpriced. Customer service isn't worth that much, especially when you have the internet as a resource as your fingertips. As far as stuff for our cars goes, replacing or install wise, you can always ask here and someone should be able to give some insight. The question was very broad and non-specific, so this is all we can really give besides the following few places to look at product:
www.cardomain.com/shop
www.thezeb.com
www.woofersetc.com
