Controll Unit Resets
Hi, I am running the TSI extreme kit. It comes with a black box with a bunch of wires, and a control unit (digital for tuning fuel and stuff). Well every time I turn the car off it resets on me. Sometimes even as Im driving (which is why im thinking somethings loose) I need this to stop happening cuz it takes 10 minutes to go anywhere after I start my car. I also have a tune set up for next week, so I need this fixed by than. I am going to doublecheck the battery wire (for power to the unit) and the neg battery wire. Do you think I should try grounding the negative wire instead of using the neg on the battery?
Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks a lot!
I posted this under FI, but nobody responded, so hopefully electrical can help me out. Thanks again

OK, I called TSI and they said take the wire off the neg battery terminal thing and ground it. So there should be my prob, it sounded like a ground was bad or power wire was loose. Need to go home in a few hours and hopefully that will be it.
