as for pics of my a-pillar ,its not representative. my a-pillar is carpeted, and my tweeter cup is about 1-2 mm wider than the flat surface of the pillar (without carpet) so it wont look anything like what you would end up with.

yes, always measure twice and cut once....and without a lip...it will be alot tougher...good luck though

Little FYI for anyone using a hole saw on a plastic panel like a door trim. Use 2" masking tape over the panel before cutting through and cut right through the masking tape. This keeps the plastic from sharding or spliting, also makes for a completely clean hole. I installed frame sliders on my motorcycle this way and it looks completely factory.
