Question about subs space and spare tire box
I used to think that making a subwoofer box in my spare tire spot was too hard, but after reading al the DIY's I think that I'm gonna try, The question I have is, I don't know if I'm gonna put 1 or 2 JLw3 in the truck, will the spacing in the custom box be ok for both 1 sub and 2 sub setup? I just don't want it to sound all crappy. Thanx!
Which will sound better considering the spacing?

Well If you give up you spare tire completely..you will have room for a pair of JL 12W3's using a rectangle MDF enclosure.. however..you won't meet the optimal SQ enclousre.. for this you'd eed to Fiberglass the whole spare tire area and give each 12W3 1.22Cu.Ft each for best SQ/Low frequency extension..
