is there a way to get a stronger antenna than the one that came with my fold out headunit? I get tv but it often sucks and is very staticy. Is there a company that anyone out there knows about that boost reception, without putting one of those dumb antennas on the outisde of my civic. THANKS!

You could get a powered antenna in a box form, like the one you'd use for GPS nav if you've ever seen it. Putting it on the rear deck would be best but you could see if it'll make any difference putting it somewhere else. Alternatively you could use an external antenna like a cell phone antenna so it wouldn't look so stupid.

TV reception in cars usually sucks. I have a TV tuner with antenna and the reception was always really bad.

ah one of my friends got one that plugs into the cig adaptor, and he get really good reception on his avic 1, i dunno just wondering thanks......anyone have a powered antenna here?
