^^Well what do you want to know, many brians are made for different systems, or you can get the new Alpine unit that has it built in. I need to get a Kenwood brain for my car cuz I get lost alot LOL

Well what's better, the portable Nav./GPS systems or the dash in mount with full screen. What I'm looking for is the voice-voice directions, turn by turn stuff, so i don't have to look at at screen all the time.

I mean I think they both function the same, but personally, I'd rather be able to look at my larger screen... I know the kenwood has that voice direction system

I don't have any experience with the portable ones, but my indash voice nav is really useful if you live in a traffic ridden city.

I am planning to buy the tomtom navi ...any1 have any experience with them?I saw the review on PC mag and they say they liked it compared to other portable navi. The price on these portable isnt that bad on ebay...Does anybody has an opinions on this?

Hmm IMO, I really like the in dash ones.. however I dont have any personal experiences with these other than in customers cars. But as far as looks go, the in dash look tight as hell.. but I do have experience with a Magellan and it was awesome how it said, "right turn.. 500 feet... right turn.... 400 feet" and so on and so forth.
