A suggestion for next time you glass:
Lay tape everywhere in the trunk (just to be safe), spray some "spray glue" (same stuff you use to carpet boxes, lay some foil paper, then lay your glass. By using foil paper you insure that the glass doesnt creep between the tape and sticking to ther car!
Other than that looks good! Im gonna start the custom work on mine and my girls vic pretty soon!

Hmm... taping the entire trunk off and foiling over it is pretty much the method they teach you at any glassing class you take. Fishman teaches it, Alpine, Audio Insttute, etc. They all use the foil method. It works exceptionally well, and I'd recommend it to anyone that's glassing. As for only the Dynamat logo coming off. Yeah, thet'll happen, and if it seeps past the tape (like over the edge) for a decent sized run, you're gonna have a pisser getting it off.

i just do a double tape everywhere then wax the tape. that works great cause you won't have to do near as much sanding, because due to the wax the tape comes off the back really easy. ive never heard the fiol method. next time i fiberglass i'll try that.

Your method does work, Im just saying that if the resin gets through the tape, your gonna have a hard time pulling out the box and rack not to mention your gonna be pulling Dynamat chunks with it!
