It doesnt mean it was broken before. It could mean the customer didnt want it, could mean something was wrong internally, but I wouldnt buy it.

no it means it had a defect, the defect was repaired and it was individualyl tested and inspected to verify that it was as good as new, so in reality its probably better than new
