mounting a 7" tv in dash

mounting a 7" tv in dash

i got a dvd player and im mounting that above the cup holders, just one question for thoose who have done the tv mount, would it be easier to just modify a double din cd player holder thing, or just compeltly make a coustom one with abs plastic?

Do you mean trimming around the frame?

It's not unneccessary.

If you do want one, its easier to modify a double din kit with a soldering iron and utility blade. That's what I did.
