CD Changer Install

I bought my wife an Alpine CD changer a couple of years ago off of eBay (CHM-S601). I just ran across it in the garage and had the thought "why not put it in my Civic?" When I bought the changer, my wife had a 93 Accord. I don't remember why I never installed it, but will it plug and play in the Civic? The cable has a round end with 8 or so pins. I believe the newer Hondas have the rectangular plug, therefore it won't fit. Is this correct? Is there any kind of adapter for the round to rectangular? Or does anyone want to buy a cheap CD changer?

I believe alpine makes an m-bus to ainet adaptor. And I think the stock civic radio uses a-inet. Anyone out there want to correct me?

Is this an adapter that is easy to find, like at like Circuit City or Best Buy? Or is it a special order or dealership item?
