DB Drive

Anyone ever heard of DB Drive subs? A buddy of mine got one a few weeks ago.. a 10 inch platinum series in a DB Drive box and it is unbelievably loud and hard. Nobody believes he has a single 10 until he shows them. It outdoes my 2 12s, and is much louder than anyone else's system that I know. Not only is it uber loud, but it sounds pretty accurate as well. He got it for 300 at a local shop. I have found very little about these speakers online. Anyone familiar with these?

Dayummmm... That pic is SICK... lol. Nice, but pretty extreme! Yeah, that's the same brand sub he bought. The only difference is that his is the platinum series. It says Platinum above the DB Drive on the cone. According to their website, the Platinum series 10s and 12s handle 1500 watts RMS. Sounds hard to believe, but I do know the subs are definately capable of delivering some serious sound.

I heard them in Nov '03 at USACi in Kansas City, mo. in this:

They sounded pretty good. it resonated through the whole place. I've always wanted to hear them (in a normal car setup), I thought they started out being cheap subs but now I think they are decent.
