6ft? long enough for u?
hye i am going to do an install on a xbox, and i was thinking about putting it in the trunk, would 6 ft of wire be long enough to run it from the head unit to the trunk, i am thinking no but i may be wrong, also where else could i place the xbox that would allow me to remove it freely, keeping a docking station of hookups in the car and the house to move it in and out? i figured the trunk would be the easiest, but the hottest too!
any ideas fire away!

aight i have found monster cable that is 10ft, but nothing longer, can i simply go to raido shack and buy rca extenders? and then wire it up like that? i assume in theory it should work right?!?!
don't buy monster. Waste of money. Go to ebay and look for knukonceptz such as this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...741771140&rd=1
I hear their RCAs are very good. Of course you would need 2 pairs since you probably have video and sterio audio. Not sure if its a bad thing to have on rca of a pair not hooked up to anything. It may or may not add noise into the signal.
This might work for you as well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

14.5 feet or more, depending on where in the trunk you locate it. If it's close to the cabin side of the trunk, 14.5 feet will be enough, further back, and I'd get more (that's running down the passenger side), probably around 10-12 going down the center). went down the passenger side becasue there was less moving parts there, and rca's aren't the cheapest of the wires to buy...
