I finally got around to installing my Alpine 9835 yesterday. I hate Honda and the engineers for making a HU install a lot harder than it has to be. Oh well, it's in and sounding great! It took about 3 hours which includes soldering and heat shrinking, running the power wire to the batter along with the 4gauge wire for my amps, and old HU removal and new HU installation. We were also working in 15 degree Chicago weather, so we had to take breaks periodically to warm our hands.

The only trouble I'm having is getting a good eq'ed sound. I'm not all to worried about it right now though because I still need to install my new components, sub and amps. So the sound will change greatly by the time that is all installed.
