be forewarned, if the sourround is on top of the mounting holes, its poorly glued on, so be careful when you put a screw through the surround.

if they did in fact make a new version, you are set.

One more question about the koda's. the web site said keep dry, but a little wet from time to time is ok. what do you do to keep moisture out/off the cone?

should improve sound quality, it restricts back wave motion, less should get out around the door panel and cancel out with the front wave.

but its all debatable.

two best theories should be it does nothing to sound quality, or it improves it
